Shampoo Bar ~ Patchouli | All Natural Vegan Zero Waste

We've heard your requests, you want an eco friendly way to wash your hair!
 Ditch the plastic bottles, impossible to pronounce chemicals and start giving your hair the nourishment it deserves!
 We have finally landed on a recipe that gives a luxurious lather and incredible shine. 
And if you are member of the curly club, or following the Curly Girl Method, you will LOVE this bar! 
It doesn't contain any sulfates, parabens, silicones or alcohol, not only is this great for all hair types, but especially those with curls that need to lock in that extra moisture. 
For the oils we used plenty of Castor oil, that not only creates the lather, but is full of ricinoleic acid. It also will enhance the health of the hair follicles and, in turn, promote hair growth, as well as protect against hair loss. Castor oil is basically your hair's new BFF. 
You also might have noticed the greenish tint, while we did use avocado oil, that's not the sole source of this green. We added nettle powder, another hair bestie you've probably never heard about. 
Not only does nettle help in combating hair loss, it also helps in hair re-growth. Nettle leaves are rich in silica and sulphur. This helps in making your hair shinier and healthier.
We've always been a huge fan of patchouli around here.  This shampoo bar is earthy and warm with just a touch of sweetness. It will leave your hair feeling and smelling like a total earth goddess. 
We are still working on a conditioning bar that will work for all hair types. For now you can stick with your current type, or you can use a half and half mixture of ACV and water to balance your hair's pH and give it some shine. 
The first couple of times you may have to lather, rinse and repeat to get a good lather, that's just your hair getting used to the natural oils and stripping off the residue left over from styling products and the "other guys" shampoo. This is the perfect shampoo to pack for that camping trip, girls weekend (no worries about TSA and their liquid rules!) or to use in your shower at home.  We're convinced that you, and your hair will never want to go back to your old shampoo!

We focus on small batch, hand crafted soaps and each bar is hand cut. Bars weigh between 3-3.5oz. This listing is for 1 bar, color and pattern may vary from the pictures shown. Swirls tend to do their own thing and each bar is it's own work of art.
There are limited quantities, however we do take orders if you would like to purchase a full batch, 10 bars.
