Who We Are

Get to know all about Glaistig Homestead - what we do, our mission and our history. Glaistig Homestead is a small family homestead, located in Central Texas. Our mission is to create a sustainable way of life for our family. 

From farming and animals to building, crafting and cooking, we are developing skills, passing them on to our children, and sharing with you!

Our journey began in a cul-de-sac on the east coast. One fateful spring, we added 6 chicks to our family, these tiny, cheeping balls of fluff would introduce us to a whole new world. One of striving to provide a more sustainable life, one where the skills of the old days are valued and home cooked meals are also home grown.
